Viridor has been awarded two esteemed Green Apple awards for commitment to pollution and emission reduction, and for innovation in plastics recycling, affirming our dedication to building a world where nothing goes to waste.
The annual ESG report highlights significant progress towards revolutionising waste management practices to create circular economy, including the acquisition of Quantafuel ASA, a key component of our commitment to achieve complete plastic circularity by 2025.
The report also highlights the progress Viridor has made towards carbon capture, with ambition to develop this innovative new technology at its Runcorn Energy from Waste plant as part of the HyNet cluster.
